Katherine Siegmeth was born just 3 miles from the Hollywood sign and has always been inspired by art, film and design. Her filmmaking career started in NYC as a Madison Ave. advertising art director creating print and TV spots for Nikon, Volvo, IBM, Chase Manhattan Bank, Hertz, Wall Street Journal and Apple. Katherine is the writer, producer and director of "BAA Maste". She is also a certified FAA Drone pilot specializing in commercial aerial film. When not behind the camera she is a SAG/Aftra actor where she can be seen in the film "Bill 2/29" on Amazon Prime. Commercial credits include T-Mobile with Kim Kardashian for Super Bowl Sunday. Katherine lives in Los Angeles at the beach with her house trained rabbit, Fredericka.
Qumaru Nisa is the producer, director of photography and editor of "BAA Maste". As a filmmaker, photographer, actress and activist, she is known for We are One" (2018) ,"Shamless" (2013) and "Death and Taxis" (2007). Qumaru started her career in 2002 as one of the creators of "Tinseltown TV". A TV show bringing audiences the best in film premieres, celebrity interviews, behind the scenes exclusives, music events, fashion shows and celebrity parties across the globe. Qumaru's latest produced feature documentary "We are One" is narrated by Forest Whitaker and features Jimmy Carter and Monika Gandhi among others. She is currently in Season 3 on Amazon Prime producing, filming & editing "OUTrageous", a docu-reality series that tells real stories of people in the LBGTQ community. She lives a raw/vegan lifestyle, residing in Los Angeles.
